Please pray that we finish strong.  The end of this year is going to be busy.  Pray for our Celebration Dinner coming up December 3rd.  As we celebrate 2010 pray that God would be honored and his church encouraged.  Also, please pray as this Christmas season we try to share the Good News of Christ with our community.  Our goal is to invite over 500 people.  Pray that many come, hear and believe.

Our small groups have done some volunteer work this autumn for the community around mhc's building.  We are grateful for the doors God is opening through this work.  We are also grateful to see new leaders emerge through these projects.

The book Radical by David Platt is coming highly recommended from some faithful people.  

The Helping Relationships: Caring for the Body of Christ conference with Ed Welch has been rescheduled for February 12, 2011. More info.

A conference we wanted to let you know about is coming up.  October 16th Ed Welch will be at Parkside Church in Solon, OH speaking on Helping Relationships: Caring for the Body of Christ.  This is a one day conference and the cost is $35 per person or $60 per couple. This looks like it's going to be good. More info.
